Regal Floors specialises in the grinding, honing, polishing, cleaning and sealing of travertine, marble, granite, limestone and all other natural stone. Whether you are in need of bringing back the shine to your marble flooring, cleaning your travertine or repairing that granite counter top, Regal Floors is there to help. Restoration and Maintenance of Commercial Floors

Marble, granite, limestone and other stone floors that receive high amounts of traffic tend to lose their lustre and brilliance quickly. This results in expensive maintenance of the floor to keep its looks. Highly trafficked stone floors require regular maintenance and restoration to maintain their appearance.

Utilising the new technology polymers Regal Floors can prolong the time between expensive repolishing of stone floors. This finish is not your typical coating that needs to be periodically stripped and re-applied. maintaining the finish doesn't require any expensive equipment or specialised training.

Regal Floors can restore your floors and help you maintain them. Either a maintenance plan can be implemented or on-site staff can easily be trained to provide maintenance.

Polished Concrete
Concrete has traditionally been thought of a something you see on a factory floor, garage or in the backyard.
Many buildings have concrete floors and traditionally these have been covered with carpet, tiles or timber. With homes now mainly being built with slab on ground, homeowners have spent many hours agonising over how to cover the plain concrete to turn their house into a home.

Today with advances in grinding equipment and concrete densifiers and the availability of stains/dyes these same floors can now be turned into a feature of the decor. Polished concrete floors add a warmth to the building or home. They are environmentally friendly and aid in the cooling and heating of the structure.
Regal Floors has closely been following trends overseas where polished concrete is fast becoming and alternative and highly desirable flooring solution. The concrete floor can now be polished, stained, dyed or coated with special polymers, to achieve decorative finishes that can look good and be virtually maintenance free.

These finishes are fast becoming an alternative flooring solution in the USA and are starting to be recognised locally by architects, interior designers and home builders as an alternative to traditional floor coverings.

Polishing of concrete can be done to new concrete as well as existing concrete. New concrete can now be ordered with decorative aggregate as to further individualise your floor.

Decorative Concrete Solutions

Concrete floors used in commercial, retail or residential settings usually means looking for a covering to go over it. In the past this meant carpet, tiles, timber or vinyl.

Regal Floors has closely been following trends overseas where the concrete floor can now be polished, stained, dyed or coated with special polymers, to achieve decorative finishes that can look good and be virtually maintenance free.

Stains and Dyes
Acid stained concrete floors offer a truly unique and distinctive look to your floor.
Whether it's faux marble, solid colour, elegant hues or artistic design, they are all possible with the use of stains and dyes to decorate a dull, boring grey concrete floor.
No longer are concrete floors to be viewed as something that needs to be covered with timber, carpet or tiles. By utilising the new technology in stains and dyes Regal Floors creates a individual and unique floor.
Trends overseas show this flooring alternative to be equally suited to offices, showrooms, retail stores as they are in homes.
When combined with Polished Concrete, stained floors are unique.

Epoxy Coatings
Most concrete floors are just plain . They look dull, drab and boring. Concrete is porous and as such any spills on the floor get absorbed into the concrete leaving you with unsightly stains.
Regal Floors can now convert your dull, unsightly concrete floor into a bright, vibrant and stain resistant floor using new technology epoxy polymers. These are stain, acid and oil resistant and require very low maintenance other than regular cleaning.
Whether you want a single uniform colour or a vibrant mix of flakes, specs or special effects, Regal Floors will design a finish to compliment your taste.
These floor systems can be used in showrooms, offices, retail shops, garages, rumpus rooms, games rooms, patios and many other areas of your home, office or workplace.

Tile and Grout Restoration
Tiles are increasingly being used as flooring in homes, offices, retail and showrooms. They are clean, crisp and accentuate the décor. Interior Designers and Architects are specifying tiles to create unique environments.
These floors still require to be maintained and cared floor to preserve their appearance and lifespan.
Regal Floors has the training, experience and knowledge to maintain tiled floors. Whether they are Ceramic, Porcelain, Stone or Terracotta we can restore these back to as new condition and then implement a maintenance schedule, if required.
We also work with new installations to remove grout haze, wax coatings and apply sealers.

Polished Porcelain Tiles

Polished Porcelain Tiles look modern, sleek and are widely used on floors today. Many Porcelain Tiles has a protective coating, usually wax, applied to protect the surface during transport and laying.
This will make the floor look dull and dirty. The coating needs to be removed and the surface cleaned and buffed to show the true finish of the tile.
Regal Floors has the experience, training and equipment to remove these coatings from your Polished Porcelain Floor. A penetrating sealer can then be applied (if required) to protect the tile and grout.

Sealing
Stone, Concrete or Tiled surfaces are all porous to some extent. This makes them susceptible to staining. Differences in porosity make some surfaces more prone to staining than others.
There are many sealers available today but generally they come in two categories, penetrating or top coating. Knowing what to use, where and when to use various sealers will determine the success of the application. Here are also situations where a sealer will have no effect on the serviceability of the surfaces and in some cases may actually harm it.
Regal Floors has extensive training and experience with a variety of products and are Accredited Applicators. We will assess your Stone, Tile or Concrete surface and advise on a suitable solution.
