Concerns for OSHA compliance and clean shop environments have grown in the stone industry. Now you can breathe easier! For “point of origin� dust removal during stone fabrication, the new Magnum Dust Collector offers a great option with high particulate efficiencies and the convenience of portability.

The Magnum Dust Collector is available with a three-horse power motor and a 10-foot pick up arm or a five-horse power motor with two 10-foot pick arms. With the 10 foot pick up arm, these units can be moved as the work flow dictates and capture dust prior to entering the respiratory zone of the operator. The 10-foot arm is outfitted with an 8� shroud for optimal collection of dust.

Using compressed air from the shop, the filters can be easily cleaned with a reverse pulse filter cleaning system. The on-board washable filter is capable of capturing particles as small as 0.5 microns, whereby filtered air can be returned directly back into the work place (acting as a heat recovery device). The dust is collected in a tray at the bottom of the unit for easy removal. The units are equipped with a filter gauge to indicate when cleaning is required, and pneumatic tires for improved portability throughout the shop. The cabinet is constructed of heavy-duty 14-gauge steel with a baked powder coated finish to withstand the harsh stone fabrication conditions.
