INSTRUCTIONS TO TOMORROW'S NAHB, FANNIE MAE AND FREDDIE MAC MID-YEAR HOUSING OUTLOOK TELECONFERENCE
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
WHEN:
2:00 p.m. EDT, July 11, 2006
WHO:
David Seiders, Chief Economist, National Association of Home
Builders
David Berson, Chief Economist, Fannie Mae
Frank Nothaft, Chief Economist, Freddie Mac
WHAT:
After several years of record levels, the housing market is
showing some signs of cooling. Higher interest rates, declining
affordability and a retreat by investor/speculators have contributed
to the dampening of the market. Now, midway through 2006, chief
economists from the National Association of Home Builders,
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae will give a year-to-date analysis of the
housing and mortgage markets, and discuss their forecasts for the
rest of 2006 and beyond. Members of the media will be given the
opportunity to ask questions of the speakers at the conclusion
of the call.
To participate in the teleconference: please call 1-800-860-2442

Call."
