Master stone mason and local entrepreneur Carlos Rodriguez has come a long way from his humble beginnings as an apprentice stone mason. More than 30 years ago, Rodriguez began his career, training under one of the most successful stone masons in the Atlanta area. When he started out, he had no idea that he would eventually launch his own masonry company. “I knew I enjoyed working with stone and creating beautiful landscapes, but I never imagined I would be where I am today,” says Rodriguez.

Rodriguez’s business is aptly named Rodriguez Stone Masons, reflecting the fact that this is a family venture. His wife Darlene and their four children help out whenever they can. Other employees are personally and professionally trained by Rodriguez himself to ensure the integrity and superior quality of the craftsmanship for which Rodriguez Stone Masons has become known. “We take pride in our work and expect our employees to do the same,” he says. “It is all about customer satisfaction. If the customer is not satisfied, then we are not satisfied.”
