White Oak was founded in June of 1977 by its president, Doug Davis. The 8’x 12’ unheated tool shed, which served as the company’s first office, has long since been replaced. Over the years, as the company expanded its customer base, gradual increases in employees and equipment resulted in the purchase of six acres in Kennesaw in 1986. A three thousand square foot general office with garage, a sixty-three hundred square foot equipment storage building, and six shade houses for our plant inventory comprise our current facility. This acreage also allows for a seven bay covered landscape materials area, three separate tree yards, and space for storage of our hardscape materials, such as boulders, flagstone, and pavers. In 2004 we completed a display garden adjacent to our parking lot. It features a seventy-five foot stream and waterfall surrounded by many of the plants we like to include in our landscape installations.
As a result of the quality service and commitment of our people, and a strong referral network of customers, White Oak has grown from very modest beginnings to one of the most respected landscape contractors in the Atlanta area. In January 2004, White Oak became an employee owned company, resulting in a renewed enthusiasm and dedication within our workforce. Each of us has an even keener interest in the success of our company, and our pledge to provide the finest landscape services available is stronger than ever.

These include landscape design and installation, irrigation system design and installation, and full service landscape maintenance. Where applicable we take a team approach when working with our clients, because we know that the collective knowledge and experience of each team member is essential to the successful completion of any complex landscape project.
