As a professional in the field, Amy earned a degree in Interior Design from the University of New Haven, Connecticut. She is an active Allied member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and earned a bachelor's degree in business from Western Connecticut State University.

Amy is one of the distinguished interior designers asked to participate in the annual holiday decoration of the historical landmark Lockwood Mathews Mansion Museum located in Norwalk, Connecticut.
