Re: This just in: WheelsUpCHB joins NSRA Forums...

Hi Everyone,

I'm not even remotely familiar with anything having to do with stone, other than just having a new kitchen counter installed by some rather "questionable" characters. I am in the import/export biz. So I can try to help in that area if anyone needs advise on importing into the USA.

After observing the guys that installed my "pre-fab" garnet gneiss countertop, I decided that I should probably get informed about the care and maintenance of this particular stone. I thought that I was buying Granite! Anyway, I'm completely intrigued by this stone profession and I feel that with some proper training, and experience, I too can start a second career after all these years of doing what I do. I don't perceive this to be easy, just very interesting.

The bottom line is that right now, I just need someone to help me with the seam line. The guy that installed my countertop was not very experienced (by his own admission) and left a visible line compared to what I've seen on the NSRA video.
