Re: This just in: SimoKinn joins NSRA Forums...

Just like to say a quick hello to all here, found the website in my quest for information regarding repairing all types of stone.

I currently work in the smart repair industry repairing pre-cast artstone on new build homes. I would really like to move in to the repair/restoration of natural stone, we get asked a lot if we can repair scratches and chips in granite worktops etc. But the company i work for don't seem intrested in moving in to this sort of work they think scratches in granite can be polished out with some wet and dry paper and aersole laquer!! and chips filled with superglue.

So here i am looking for infomation on the techniques thats can be used and equipment that is needed to make a good job. Am from the UK so the course that Huligar runs is out of my means sadly, does anyone know of any training courses run in the uk?

Many thanks

Simon.
