Re: This just in: aw3@globalimaging.ws joins NSRA Forums...

I just had AB granite in stalled in my kitchen in a "L" shape where there is a seam filled with gray dull epoxy that the installer says is standard installation. According to this site I can have this buffed to become less obvious. Should the installer do this in the first place or is it extra to have this done? The countertops are extremely expensive and I thought the seam would be almost invisible thus picking the darkest granite. I am I expecting too much??

Hi aw3, I'm not a counter top specialist. But i believe it should have been done in the first place. Unfortunately the installer did not have the skills to do this for you. I'm sure one of the members in your area can help you out...

Hi AW3, sorry to here about your counter.
If it is possible, can you please up load some images of the problem areas of your stone?
At this time we do not have a restoration guy that we can recommend in your area for this type of work. A light gray seam in your AB was not the way to go. I hope you did not pay the balance. even if they do not or can not polish your seem, they should change the color from gray to black.

If they tell you that it can not look any better show them this video
