Ok, we are going to have our very first contest.
The winner of this contest will receive a brand new set of copper pads.
The contest is very simple. In order to win, you must demonstrate your ability to make a repair look natural. Wait, it is simple but not that easy. Your repair must contain a non-typical element e.g. handibond. Handibond was a non-typical tool, but for anyone who has used it. It has become a standard tool in the toolbox. We need to see more new tools for the stone restoration industry. No one wants to make them for us, so lets create them for ourselves. In order to qualify, you must take pictures of each step, write in detail what it is that you are doing, include all mishaps, and the repair must look natural. I will not participate in this contest. If any one has an idea that they think can work, but do not feel as if they have the skill to complete the task. Send me a pm with full details. I would do it for you.
You have until 9/3/2005. The prize may get bigger depending on the type of repairs that are submitted. The board will judge the repairs in the polls.
