What to do with left over granite tile?

Hello,

We recently remodeled our bathroom and have several 5 gallon buckets of left over granite tiles. I dont want to sell it or give it away because I want to do some kind of project with it. I dont believe in wasting anything really. Can you think of any creative ways to reuse the cut pieces? I do have one full piece Im using currently as a cutting board for my kitchen. Thanks in advance. Holly

Make sure that you also save some extra spare pieces if needed in the future for the bathroom, before getting creative with the rest. How big were the tiles?

Glenn K,

They were 12x12's and yes we have exactly 2 boxes left of the new venetian gold granite tiles. Which is 20 pieces left for the future.

I have seen a job where the customer cracked tiles then set in concrete for an outside walkway. It looked pretty cool.

I've seen customers using left over tiles etc. for insets or stepping stones in their gardens. One customer did a DIY coffee table for one of his relatives. It turned out nicely. He bought an oak table from an unfinished wood furniture store. The tiles fit almost perfectly.

You can also put some cork butttons on the bottom and use them for hot plates on dinning table

Glenn K, George, and Steve....Thanks for the creative ideas...You've given me alot to ponder. Definitely doing the hot plates that George suggested. Both the walk way and the garden bench and stepping areas sound awesome!!!! Im gonna have to think about the table idea a bit...it does sound good though. Thank you guys...have a great night...Holly
