| Re: Staining on Granites If you are talking about the uniblack1/2, it has been almost a year that I have been abusing the the stone that I re-colored.
One would think, any group that is here to help would leave this type of information out in the public area so that the rest of the stone guys could can be informed.
Not too far back tenax usa wrote that they have resin black granite, since than they came out with all type of colors for stone. It would make more sense to resin the ab back to black if the home owner demands the dark black polish or just a real dark hone. This is one of the things that we will be covering in the next class.

Also, are you pleased with the effectiveness? I've use Tenax's black Petro with no results. Please tell me about Uniblack1/2. |

| Re: Staining on Granites Any fabricator who does not test his AB upon delivery for doctoring is not paying attention to his industry. I have never run across a doctored AB yet myself. Buy your materials from a reputable source and you won't have any problems.

| Re: Staining on Granites FYI: The granquartz sealer is a Lithofin product. The same products that VIC was selling.
It sounds like your problem is with water spoting it sounds like. We have been dealing with this product for three years out here. Charcoal slabs dyed black with resins, waxes, and oils.
There is no solution for this except not to sell it. Find different material. Better material. I have clients that have stopped installing black abolute altogether because of this problem. I've seen this product etch with bottled water, sealer, lemon, everything.
Good Luck. |
