| Re: Spot light on regal floors I use Microsoft expressions for the pages and general site manipulation - very easy and user friendly, however I think my site was developed with the same software or at least a microsoft product so there is probably some syncronization necessary between the software you choose and that which the site was developed with. I also purchased SoThink Menu software to redo my menus when I add stuff and Also a flash file editor to compile the flash picture slide shows. For the cost of a single upgrade to the site, I bought this stuff, but again for me it was not the money, but the time and direction necessary to guide a"designer" seemed redundant. I am a great fan of hiring professionals to concept and originate the framework of any marketing campaign. For instance, I am having vehicles wrapped in the next few weeks and I have completely farmed that design out. |

| Re: Spot light on regal floors here is a site I just did a on Saturday, 23 June 2007.
This is going to be the new format for all the free NSRA web sites. It is going to be control by the owner, any and all functions can be added or change in less than two shakes of a lambs tail. As you can see the site have already receive PR from google. Home - Stone Advice

| Re: Spot light on regal floors I got a great joke today. Home*-*Stone Advice is getting a lot of attention for its rapid growth in pr.
Let me tell you all how it is done, first off you need to look at your target "who do you want to see your site". for this I had to look at the way search engines look at the site. The heavily mod soft wear that I use is call joomla. Google just updated all of my sites, here are a few that is related to stone. How do you care for your natulal stone How to care for your countertop Conquest Columbia BBS Mary and Paul Blog Marthe Arends
This is just a few sites that I have started to test out the the mods that I had created.
I have not convert my own site as of yet, but that is going to take place real soon. If you type the words stone restoration in Google, you will see no less than two of my sites on the front page. It is my goal to have all the NSRA guys on the front page of Google.

| Re: Spot light on regal floors Can you please elaborate on this "pr". I am familiar with, but have never used Joomla open source. I must say that I am very impressed on the hit you received from stone restoration. I looked over some of the code and content and I think you've done a great job. I am not sold on any idea beyond relevancy of your content to the search string. Is there anything else that you have done here other than continually fine tuning the content to achieve the hit from stone restoration? For instance, I did not see your site when I tried " marble polishing". I think its great that you are apparently using"mods" to learn how the seach engines are working and seeing the sites rather than referring on what is generically written on the ever changing subject. | | | | | Marble | MARBLE: CHARACTERISTICS
This standard includes general information on the characteristics
and common uses of marble and identifies typical problems
associated with the material.
INTRODUCTION
Marble is an extremely hard, metamorphic stone composed of calcite
(CaCO3). It is formed as a result of the recrystallization of
limestone under the intense pressure and heat of geologic
processes. The effect of this process is the creation of a stone
with a very tight crystalline structure and small but definite
porosity. Because of its structure, marble can take a very high
polish and is a very popular decorative stone for architectural and
sculptural uses. The limited porosity of marble, especially
polished marble, makes it less vulnerable to the leaching effects
of water. Calcium carbonate, however, of which marble is composed,
is highly susceptible to attack by acidic agents. Marble is
readily dissolved by acids, even very dilute acids, however the
actual results of acidic exposure will vary with the nature of the
acid. Chlorides, nitrates, sulfates and other chemical compounds
react differently with marble and produce various by-products,
which have a wide range of solubility and impact on the durability
of marble. For this reason, it is always important to determine
the exact type of pollutants causing marble deterioration.
Marble itself can be of two types, one composed of calcite and the
other of dolomite. Dolomitic marble is much more resistant to acid
attack than calcite marble. The color of marble ranges from the
brilliant white of calcite to black, including blue-gray, red,
yellow and green, depending upon the mineral composition.
TYPICAL USES
Marble has many decorative and structural uses. It is used for
outdoor sculpture as well as for sculpture bases; in architecture
it is used in exterior walls and veneers, flooring, decorative
features, stairways and walkways. The way in which the stone is
used may be a factor in limiting or controlling the severity of
exposure. The use or function of the marble may also affect the
feasibility of applying certain treatments, but type of use is not
the primary factor in the major types of deterioration and damage
to which marble is susceptible. | | | | | | |

| Re: Spot light on regal floors I like their local click services also - Do you attribute that gross to leads originating through google only? My business is referral only for 19 years, but we try to keep track of where the referrals come from.
Incidentally, the search engine stuff I was referring to earlier is applicable to non pay organic results only - the key is to have google return your site on top even if you are NOT paying for clicks. For instance my site returns tops page for many different search strings, but it can always be better. One thing is for sure, you have to be motivated to learn and keep the ball rolling - no one will do it for you. |

| Re: Spot light on regal floors guys, we can continue this post in the trade area.
I will be more than happy to tell you what i did and how what my mods do for the site.
Please note, I use joomla and word press for my test sites.
Also note that my mods and these sites are free for all members of the NSRA. I feel we all need to get our service seen by the public.
