Posting pictures

Everyone seems to be having problems posting pics so I thought I would do this to help. First off, imageshack is way played out, quit using it. Join Free Image and Video Hosting - Photo Image Hosting Site : Photobucket.com and upload files there. If you want to post them they must be resized. In order to do this, download http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...ertoySetup.exe this is windows picture resizer. Download it and locate your file in your computer. Right-click on it and select 'resize pictures.' Select small and the program will create a duplicate of your picture with '(small)' in the filename. This is the file that you want to upload to photobucket.com It will then show up in your album at photobucket.

Copy and paste the LAST line of code for your picture. Paste it in the reply box where you want your pic to go. VOILA, it's there right in your post. If you need help, read this post again.

Find your pic, right-click and resize picture. Upload resized(small) pic to photobucket.com, copy and paste LAST line of code for pic you want into your post. BOOM PIC IS THERE!

Screenshots to come!

Re: Posting pictures

Hi Buddy

Thanks for the pointers!

I use photobucket, but was trying to use the attachment feature Josveek recommended. I'll be trying it your way, as I'm already familiar with it. All I need now is a reason to post a photo. Believe me, I'll figure something out.

Of course I do, John. What do you mean I'm starting to scare you. Did that little tutorial help? I can clean it up and make it step-by-step but I need better screenshot program. This one won't let me right-click and take a shot to get the resizer in a picture, but whatever. I will work on it. Anything else you need help with let me know, these computer gadgets aren't really that difficult if you have some patience.....and a few beers!

That's what i have been missing - a few beers! I got to get me some of them at the shop. Maybe then I can relax enought to deal with these things.
