natural stone as 'siding' for home

have a 1970s traditional brick center hall colonial home.

need to replace masonite siding. instead of hardiplank, would like to add stone to triangular area on end, front, and rear of house. is it also possible by the dormer windows?

Yes. You should consult an engineer to make sure the areas in question are structurally sound to support the weight for the designs and material that you want.

Anything is possible with stone. The limitations usually lay with the surface it is being attached to.
