Re: Joint seam problem-dark line

The granite edge that we see the line in in the photograph is curved so that might partially explain the grain mismatch, which is not the problem. The lamination seam area discoloration appears to be not in the epoxy seam itsself but in the top surface of the bottom piece of granite in the lamination. I was wondering if a coating could have been applied to the top of the granite and when the lamination was formed the top of the granite piece used became the upper surface of the bottom lamination. So we are seeing a darker surface layer contrasting with the rest of the granite

So I would like to know if this is fixable and whether there is anyone in the San Francisco bay area who could take a lookand possibly fix it. I just don't want someone to attempt a risky fix that makes things worse.

Is this fixable? Is there any one in the San Franciso bay area who could tke a look at this. I also don't want to risk making this worse in an effort to fix it.

This can be fix, but it is not going to be cheap.
as of this date I do not know of any one in your area that can do this type of work.
I wish I was in your area, I would do it for free as long as you sign the vdeo release.
