Go to your Home Depot or the likes and look in the tile section. There you will find several different brands of marble tile polish, in a range of different prices. I use the mid range. You can either hand polish, but I would suggest a buffer.I'd tell ya the name of the polish I use, but for the life of me, I can't remember at the moment.

polish, polish and keep polishing preferably with an electric buffer, if this fails may need a professional to come in with a industrial buffer that will take out scratches and bring back the shine

If your marble floor does not have any significant damages, regular commercial marble polisher, which you can find in most home improvement stores, will make the floor shin again.

Re: how to make marble floors shine again?

The way to make marble shine is to remove scratches from the stone. please do not put any marble polish on your floor unless you want some one to fall. Call your local NSRA member and have them resurface you marble.

The area needs to be resurfaced with use of diamond pads and restoration machine. This is to remove any scratches/etches that cause the dull appearance. A qualified stone restoration company would be best to perform the work.

Remove the damage(scratches). Save time and money and restore the Marble to it's original condition by hiring a professional. Check for a local NSRA member.
