Exclamation Honing after installtion

Here it is a designers nightmare. The client thought they were recieving honed limestone. The counter was installed today, polished and ofcourse the client is disappointed to say the least. I know it is possible to hone floors..........how about counters? There is only one finished edge (granite goes wall to wall) with two sinks. BTW the finished edge is a radius, no ogee. What should I expect for costs if this is indeed possible. I am not certain who is at fault yet ....... I want to be certain, I am not told something isn't possible if it is.........My ultimate goal is to make my client happy. Hopefully someone can answer this tonight...........I will be knocking on my fabricators door in the am.
Thanks for you advice!

Re: Honing after installtion

This is a piece of cake.
Not only can it be done, but it can be done with out leaving a mess in the home, and you can also turn the home back over to the client the same day.

I hope this was the answer you were looking for.

Re: Honing after installtion

I've done many of them fast and easy, but it may not be what others would do, so I'll leave my method out of this thread.

Hey, Let's keep the explanations of the process in the trades lounge.
