| dry treat???? what are your opinions on dry treat products? I personally don't like the stuff but am recently coming into direct competition with the it. like clients are wanting me to do all of the work and then have the dry treat guy come in and seal after i'm done. i'm not a big fan of this. |

| Re: dry treat???? Do you really make any money putting sealer on? I thought the money was in the repair. I have not had any customers mention anything about them - only from other industry people. I personally don't believe that they have majic products - just pushy, expensive sales. Make your money on repairs, let the sealing go, the cusomers will be back after they learn. It will only cost the customer more in the long run to have 2 different people work on their stuff.

| Re: dry treat???? only problem i have with it is that i like to guarantee my work and if i dont apply the sealer i dont know what has been put on the stone after i leave. this makes it harder to trouble shoot any problems later. |

| Re: dry treat???? Tim meet Timm.
Have them sign off the work that you did. Your responsibility ends at that point.
Timm glad to see that you are making money. Hope to hear from you soon.

| Re: dry treat???? Hi Timm, now you met Tim
my 2 cents, If you let them know you will not guarantee unless you seal I think the majority
would take the warranty

| Re: dry treat???? Who me?
Well, Timm, it looks like your guarantee on those jobs is only that it looks good until the Drytreat is applied or their check clears. If you have a written warranty modify it to exclude if another sealer has been applied by someone else. If they go that route they are on their own. Too bad you have to take a stand like that but why get tied up into Drytreat's junk.
