One of the great advantages that natural stone has over the man-made material, is the fact that the stone can be serviced.

Don't forget Portland & Epoxy Terrazzo, which both are serviceable too. However, the Epoxy Terrazzo tins to be abit more challenging. Waite a min, i take that back.. Both can be a P.I.A...lol

I think the great advatage that natural stone has over any other building material is its uniqueness. Every piece of stone is different. You can build two bridges identically using concrete and steel. But try erecting two buildings using granite for claddng and have them be the same.

And yes, what's best about natural stone is its ability to be manipulated by man to suit a purpose. Whether its a statue, a building, or a countertop, natural stone can either by carved, fabricated, or restored.
