| bluestone countertops
We just purchased a home with many stone accents. The previous owner was a stone mason who installed rare, very dark Pennsylvania bluestone counters in the kitchen. He chose, cut, and hand rubbed them. All we know is that he told us the stone is only available from one quarry in NE Pennsylvania (I believe). We did not get any care instructions from him and want to maintain their beauty. There does seem to be one darkened area, looking to me like an oil stain. Can anyone help with care tips?
We also have a flagstone front porch. Half of it is grouted. What should we use to fill the small gaps between the stones on the other half?
Thank you for any help you can give. |
