Re: Ager Tiger vs. MB-6

I would not use ager on Limestone. Better off with Stonetech Color Enhancer. Ager is too gooey for limestone!

Re: Ager Tiger vs. MB-6

thanks, it's a good thing I didn't order it yet. However, I am getting differing opinions on color enhancers. I guess I am a bit confused at this point. I am looking to seal limestone and slate with a color enhancing sealer. Being and amatuer at this stuff, would the stonetech product be the best bet for both applications?

Etinul, If it is the stone that I saw, use the tiger.

If you apply too much and do not remove the excess from the surface, it will become tacky to the touch.

Re: Ager Tiger vs. MB-6

I find Ager very thick and really only suitable for polished granite. That is not over applying it. I always use the Stonetech enhancer for my limestone and slate jobs when required. I like the solvent based much better than the water based.
