Mills Properties, Inc. was founded in 1979 for the purpose of devoloping, owning and managing real estate in the St. Louis market. For over twenty years Mills Properties has developed, owned and managed apartments, office buildings, shopping centers and hotels. In the mid 1990's, Mills Properties made the strategic decision to focus solely on its core competency-the development, acquisition and management of apartment properties.

Since making this decision, Mills Properties has sold more than $65 million of office buildings, shopping centers and hotels and has purchased or developed in excess of $190 million in apartments.

Boulder Springs, a 166-unit luxury apartment complex located at Page Avenue and Highway 270 brought Mills Properties into the forefront of the St. Louis luxury market. It has been nomintated for national recognition by the National Home Builders Association and recognized for its contribution to community improvement by the City of Maryland Heights.

One of Mills Properties' most notable new developments is the Boulders @ Katy Trail in St. Charles, Missouri. The $26 million community consists of luxury apartments with state-of-the art floorplans and amenities that reflect the lifestyles of today's "renters by choice". The clubhouse features both an indoor and outdoor pool, a theatre-style video room, massage and billiards rooms and a state-of-the art business center. Several other development opportunities are at various stages throughout the St. Louis area, including such prominent communities as University City and the Central West End.

Mills Properties has developed over $70,000,000 in multifamily communities and currently own and manage over 6,000 apartment homes in the St. Louis and Columbia, Missouri markets and in Carbondale, Illinois. The property management division of Mills Properties was voted "Management Company of the Year," in 1998, 2000, 2004, and 2006 by the St. Louis Apartment Association.
