Located in the Amarone neighborhood, the custom single-family model home offers four bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a study, wet bar and a parlor within a floor plan of 4,059 square feet. It has 5,440 total square feet, including a large covered verandah spanning the back of the home and a three-car garage.

Polished white marble floors inlaid with black granite create a black-and-white backdrop for the home’s contemporary design, which is embellished with mirrored finishes, decorative ceiling details, occasional touches of champagne and metallics, and lighting fixtures reminiscent of Oriental paper lanterns.

The Leonardo Fiore’s exterior — arches, columns and abundant stone detailing — give no hint to the contemporary design inside. Palm trees rise from the landscaping in the center of the circular driveway finished with pavers.

The entry rises to three arched clerestory openings embellished with iron inserts, a detail repeated in the two glass entry doors and fanlight. Inside, the view from the foyer is directed past a piano alcove and through the parlor’s three mitered windows, taking in the outdoor ambiance — the custom pool, flanked by a fountain and spa, and a cascading fountain positioned in a large lake beyond.

The polished marble and granite in the foyer’s floor is contrasted by the texture of a concrete wall, rubbed to reveal random areas of paint, and the black matte surface of the ceiling, illuminated by three square fixtures made of translucent material.

A precast stone column defines the space between the foyer and dining room, where the floor is laid in black granite with a circle of white. Three bayed windows overlook the front gardens. Dark wood molding accents the ceiling, its color contrasted with white floating crown molding on the lowest level.

The piano alcove is positioned within a mirrored niche lit with three square fixtures and sitting on a white marble floor, creating a perfect setting for showcasing the $30,000 Bohemia baby grand piano.

Ahead, the inlaid carpeting defines the parlor’s space, which is illuminated by five square fixtures made of translucent material. The ceiling has a faux finish and floating crown molding with rope lighting. A wide arched opening leads into the kitchen and leisure room. The nook is located just beyond the archway. Set into a mitered glass window it has an upholstered banquette and overlooks the spa and raised fountain.

The white floor continues into the kitchen, where it is embedded with a black octagonal border around the center island. The octagon is repeated in the camp ceiling, which is finished with black crown molding and mirrors. The island offers a stainless sink and its black countertop is framed with lighter granite.

The kitchen offers a stainless steel oven tower, a stainless steel side-by-side Thermador refrigerator/freezer, a paneled dishwasher, walk-in pantry and mirrored backsplash. Above the five-burner stove is a painting by Valentine framed in black granite.

Zero corner pocketing doors open the family room to the covered verandah. The room offers a wet bar with black cabinetry that incorporates wine storage. It has granite countertops, a stainless steel sink, wine refrigerator and a mirrored backsplash. The octagonal ceiling is repeated in the family room and has two levels of floating crown molding and a pewter-color tissue paper finish that adds texture. The curved leather sectional is oriented to a wall-mounted flat-screen TV.

Additional wine storage is found in the black built-in cabinetry in a vestibule off the leisure room. Double doors open into a carpeted gathering room, whose full bath also doubles as the pool bath.

The fourth bedroom, used as a gathering room in the model, has built-in cabinetry with a black finish and granite countertops, a wall-mounted flat-screen TV and a ceiling accented with black crown molding and mirrors.

The verandah offers nearly 620 square feet of covered outdoor living space and has a wet bar/summer kitchen equipped with a stainless steel GE refrigerator, Thermador grill, sink and stainless steel cabinet doors. Countertops and backsplash are granite, edged with black subway tile. Mirrors reappear on the upper level of the grill hood. The ceiling is painted black with a whitewash overcoat.

The black-and-white theme continues in the pool with white surface, black watermark and built-in bench. The raised octagonal spa has an eight-tiered spillover. Water also splashes into the pool from a fountain in the raised wall behind it.

The study and master suite are found in a vestibule off the foyer and parlor. The floor of this area has black granite squares with white marble insets and the ceiling is black with dark crown molding. The study has a white floor inlaid with bands of black granite. A built-in offers plenty of storage and a peninsula partner’s desk. A large window brings in natural light. The wallpapered recessed ceiling is accented with multiple levels of crown molding.

Double doors open into the master suite vestibule, which has a white polished marble floor and a niche with a black surface and mirrored sides. The floor continues into a second vestibule, which accesses the bathroom, a water closet and one of the room’s two walk-in closets.

The bathroom’s white floor is inlaid with black granite stripes and the custom cabinetry has black granite countertops. The multi-level ceiling has black crown molding with rope lighting positioned below a mirrored surface that encircles the room. The jetted tub has a granite and mirrored surface. An arched opening leads into the doorless shower, finished with black granite walls, a white marble bench, a rainhead and a trio of floor-to-ceiling windows.

The second walk-in closet is in the carpeted master bedroom. Mirrored nightstands flank the bed, which has an upholstered headboard set into black fluted wood detailing. Mirrors also appear in the sides of the tray ceiling, which has a faux finish, floating crown molding and a quartet of urban-inspired lighting fixtures with frosted fluted glass shades and an antiqued stainless steel finish.

Formal Corinthian columns with acanthus capitals provide a classic contrast to the rest of the room and frame a settee, positioned in a bay area within four windows overlooking the spa, lake and preserve through sheer black draperies. French doors provide access to the covered verandah.

The powder room is found en route to the guest wing, served by a vestibule with a black granite floor inlaid with a white marble circle. The half-bath has a black floor with white inlay and a gray lacquered vanity with black granite countertop.

The guest wing hallway features a niche finished with black granite and mirrors. Each of the guest rooms offers a variation on the black-and-white theme. One has white marble floors with a curved carpet inset and museum lighting aimed at more Valentine artwork. Its private full bath has a glass-enclosed shower with a black tile floor and white walls.

A circle of thick black carpet in the second room is inlaid into a white marble floor. Its full bathroom has black cabinetry, a black countertop and a glass-enclosed shower.

The utility room’s white floor is accented with a single black band. Additional contrast is provided by painted black walls, white cabinetry and black countertops. The room also offers track lighting and a front-loading Bosch washer and dryer.

The Leonardo Fiore has a 55-kilowatt natural gas generator and hurricane impact glass windows and shutters.

The furnished model, priced at $2,495,000, is available on leaseback. The piano is not included in the purchase price.
