If I was going to strip this, I would use the aerosol spray stripper from Kleanstrip. Spray it on, scrub with a little steal wool and acetone, wipe off with an acetoned rag. Throw everything away. At this point you can use your diamonds and what ever is left will be gone on the first grit. EZPZ.

Ted, what would you recommend to remove a paraffin wax (pamir) on Honed calcatta gold countertops? Only a few months old, but as you would expect - every little drop of water looks like an etch mark, and I know that there are true etch marks underneath. I'm lookin' to strip the wax, re hone, then seal well - they're already going to sign a contract for a maintenance plan - but I know that the wax is going to be a PIA to get off, and out.
