19 Year Old Entrepreneur Buys Retail Granite Chain (Centre Daily Times)

Through his investment company, Javan Capital Partners LLC, 19 year old Artin Afsharjavan, owner of the Bethesda Persian restaurant Javan, has agreed to purchase The Countertop Company Inc., a retail operation selling granite countertops in 8 locations in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina. The sale is complete, and Javan Capital Partnership assumed ownership on February 1st.

Artin Afsharjavan said, "In the current economy, realizing solid returns on investment from the capital markets is tough. But, there are still great opportunities for long term gains through direct investment in small companies with strong business models that offer growth potential.
