I cut 2500 sq. ft. of lippage prone medium density limestone with a mono machine 1.5 horse, 6 prong stiff plate at about 150lb.s total with 50 grit turbo cats in a day with no sweat at all. A plantetary machine will do better. One thing is for sure with limestone, nickel electroplated pads will work best for cleaning up the scratches from the turbo cats - there's where you will need to spend some time.
Huligar - Could you please elaborate on these "soft cuts" I see, I personally do not like the scratch pattern that the turbocats leave - will these cut as well and leave a "softer" scratch? |
