| Re: Help with Limestone and Slate Restoration So it is true then, the only solution to rectifying the soluble salts problem is to replace the floor tiles. Hopefuly I will have it installed correctly this time. Fred, can I somehow retain your services for a spec on an installation that may help prevent this from happening? Should I use honed slate instead of natural cleft this time? I really don't understand how this won't happen again? I know I'm rambling.
I forgot to mention, below the shower floor tiles is Lead Pan. Could the lead also be having an adverse effect on my tiles?
Huligar, I am gald to hear you say that my wall tiles don't look so bad. I take that as meaning that they can be "fixed". Is that true?
Thanks again. |
