| Re: finding a stone restoration contractor First, it has lots of pits (some large enough to sick your finger nail into), fissures that look and feel like rough spots and so forth. It does not have the shine that most new granites have. secondly, the seams are not straight and look "messy". We have complained and the installer said he would pull them out, refund our money and let us buy from someone else. We would GLADLY do this, however, we think that his work installing was so shoddy that he'll wreck our new cabinests as he yanks them out. (Our cabinet maker thought it would be a disaster, too.) We don't want to risk it, so we'd rather see if anything can be done. We would rather pay to have them polished and the seams fixed up, if possible. Let us know who we can call!!! |
